The summer romance sings –

soothing with supple,

and slender

sights.

Who knows when trees will bloom?

I lift my eyes and all is new –

Who holds the hearts of sinners renewed?

I sing to speak –

So to speak is to say;

“Despite it all,

I’ve had my way.”

(Don’t worry,

Spring sings for you,

too).
